I am a residential interior designer established in Fort pierce Florida, and serving the surrounding areas. As a nurse of 24 years, I have seen many physical and mental conditions, that continually lead me to think about what influence environment has on well-being. What toxins are there in our homes that we aren’t aware of? How can I use technology and good design to help disabled people live in comfort and ease? What impact can good light, fresh air, plants and beautiful surroundings have on the human psyche?

The relationship between well-being and environment and is multifaceted.

Not only does environment affect our physical health,

it affects us mentally and can even affect us spiritually.

Mental health is an issue that very near and dear to my heart. Since the pandemic, I have watched my mother slowly lose her battle with Alzheimer’s. It was an overwhelming time for me as I took on the role as her sole caregiver. It was a time that birthed my fascination for neuroscience. It was also a time that I discovered nature’s undeniable therapeutic effect on my own mental well-being.

Today, I want to help people live healthier lives through their environment known as their homes. I aim to combine my obsession of great design with the principles of neuroscience and the healing influence of nature to benefit humanity.
